Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in student advising or related higher education role.
• Prior experience advising international students preferred; SEVIS/F-1 exposure valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on academic progress, university policy, and immigration regulations to international students.
• Conduct individualized advising sessions covering course registration and degree progress.
• Monitor at‑risk students and intervene with outreach and success plans.
• Assist with CPT/OPT/ STEM OPT and DSOs for SEVIS updates when needed.
• Support cultural adjustment, health insurance, time management, and financial literacy.
