Job summary

Form Energy seeks a Global Supply Manager to build a world-class, end-to-end sourcing capability for a breakthrough energy storage technology. You will lead supplier discovery, negotiate terms, and collaborate with leadership, engineering, and supply chain to scale a novel, global supply base.

You’ll report to the Director of Global Supply Management, with relocation assistance and opportunities to influence a category that doesn’t exist in playbooks yet.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in strategic sourcing in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to rapidly learn a new category and dig into technical details.
• Fluency in commercial terms, contract structures, and IP concepts.
• Detail-driven, data-informed decision making, even with incomplete info.
• History of high-stakes negotiations with real results.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own a strategic sourcing category, managing suppliers, contracts, and upstream to raw materials.
• Partner with leadership, engineering, and supply chain to shape sourcing strategy.
• Negotiate exceptional terms—pricing, lead times, risk—and run end-to-end sourcing.
• Identify cost risks, analyze costs deeply, and monitor industry trends early.
• Develop category playbooks and stay ahead of market dynamics.
