Job summary

Corning in the United States is seeking a senior leader to develop and execute Global Supply Management (GSM) strategic sourcing strategies for assigned global commodities. You will align with business units, commercial teams, supply chain and manufacturing to drive value.

Lead bids, negotiations, supplier intelligence, SRM, and SLAs while championing the Global Buying Policy and ensuring compliance. This role requires cross-functional collaboration across multiple businesses and a matrix

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
8+ years of manufacturing experience.
Experience in Category or Program Management.
Experience across multiple businesses or technologies.
Experience in global manufacturing or matrix environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations, and proposals for global commodities.
Develop and review specifications, statements of work, performance terms and accept criteria.
Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain maximum value.
Develop and communicate global supply intelligence for assigned commodities.
Own the Supplier Relationship Management process for the assigned commodities.
Develop, maintain and execute Shared Objectives and Service Level Agreements.
Champion the Global Buying Policy and ensure compliance.
