Job summary

Albany International Corp. in Texas is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support all AEC commodity sourcing activities, including supplier analysis, strategic relationships, and global direct-material sourcing to drive cost savings and successful project execution.

You will manage RFQs through contract negotiations, develop sourcing initiatives, analyze price and cost data for government contracts, and monitor supplier performance with quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Arts; MBA preferred.
• 5-8 years in purchasing and strategic sourcing.
• International experience with Americas/Europe suppliers preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing strategies for supplier commodities.
