Job summary

SGS is seeking a senior leader to oversee sterilization processes for medical devices, ensuring compliance across MDR, MDD, UK MDR, ISO13485, MDSAP and IVDR. You will lead the Sterilization team within the MDR Product Assessors, deliver competence programs and maintain QMS documentation aligned with MDCG and NBOG guidance.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of medical device management systems and compliance auditing.
• Experience with regulatory standards and conformity assessment procedures.
• Ability to develop training materials and coach staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterilization processes across certification schemes and provide technical support.
• Lead MDR Product Assessors-Sterilization team and manage competence.
• Develop, maintain and implement sterilization QMS documentation.
• Monitor team KPIs and conduct performance appraisals.
• Support proposals, client interactions, and external engagements.
