Job summary

Array Tech, Inc. is seeking a visionary Director of Global Steel & Strategic Development to lead our worldwide steel sourcing strategy and partnerships in renewable energy and advanced manufacturing sectors.

This role shapes procurement footprints and aligns sourcing with long-term business goals. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in global sourcing with steel/procurement focus, strong leadership, and proven ability to drive cost reductions, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in global sourcing or strategic development with steel/procurement focus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a global steel sourcing strategy for cost, supply security, and sustainability.
Build and manage strategic relationships with global steel producers and service centers.
Monitor markets, trade policies, tariffs, and geopolitical risks to inform decisions.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and ESG teams.
Lead cross-functional projects including vertical integration and localization.
Drive cost reductions via negotiations and total cost of ownership analysis.
Identify and mitigate supply risks with diversification and dual sourcing.
Align sourcing with ESG goals and low-carbon steel initiatives.
