You will partner with suppliers, analyze markets, drive cross-functional initiatives, and advance sustainability goals while optimizing total cost of ownership and supply security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and project management skills.
• Experience leading global sourcing, supply chain, or strategic development in steel or metals procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global steel sourcing strategy to ensure cost competitiveness, supply security, and sustainability alignment.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with global steel producers, mills, and service centers for long-term supply continuity.
• Monitor global steel markets, trade policies, tariffs, and geopolitical risks to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and ESG teams to align sourcing with product development and manufacturing needs.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects including vertical integration, joint ventures, and localization in key markets.
• Drive cost reduction through strategic negotiations, value engineering, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification, dual sourcing, and strategic inventory planning.
• Ensure sourcing strategies align with ESG goals, including low-carbon steel initiatives and responsible sourcing practices.
