GS1 US seeks a Global Standards Manager for Web & Agentic Ecosystems to shape data interoperability across global ecosystems. You will influence GS1 standards evolution to support AI-driven, machine-readable interactions and collaborate with retailers, brands, and solution providers.

• Monitor emerging ecosystems and recommend evolution of GS1 standards.
• Contribute to machine-readable standards including schemas, APIs, and tooling.
• Partner with retailers, brands, and solution providers to validate use cases and drive adoption.
• Provide thought leadership on trusted, interoperable data across identity, semantics, and provenance.
• Translate industry needs into standards-based solutions for scalable data exchange.

We are currently recruiting for this position, which offers a salary range of $90k-$110k.

This position qualifies for participation in our annual employee bonus program.

You are a technically curious problem solver who understands how web technologies, data models, and emerging technologies come together to enable interoperability across systems and industries. You are comfortable operating in evolving environments and bring a strong point of view on how standards should adapt to support what comes next.

You have experience working with APIs, web architectures, and data formats such as JSON or JSON-LD and understand how semantic data models support scalable, machine-readable systems.

You bring experience in supply chain environments or have deepexpertisein semantic web technologies and data models, and you understand how structured data enables connectivity across organizations and platforms.

You are energized by the opportunity to evolve existing standards to support modern use cases, including AI-driven and machine-based interactions.

You are a strong collaborator who can work across industries, translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance, and bring GS1expertiseinto broader discussions to drive adoption and impact.
