24 Seven Talent is seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist to join a fast-paced retail team in San Diego. The role supports global sourcing, merchandising, new product development, vendor management, and cost analysis.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, is organized, data-driven, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to advance sourcing initiatives. 2–3+ years in sourcing and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of sourcing experience preferred.
• Merchandising or retail experience required.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Global sourcing, manufacturing, or vendor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export, logistics, and quality control is a plus.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Microsoft Office & Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support global sourcing strategies across assigned product categories.
• Manage new product development projects from sourcing through execution.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend new suppliers.
• Analyze bids, costs, margins, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate and communicate directly with vendors and suppliers.
• Partner with Private Brand and cross-functional teams.
• Track vendor performance across service, quality, and cost.
• Analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.
• Monitor manufacturing, materials, labor, and supply chain trends.
• Help identify and resolve sourcing and vendor issues.
