Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Manager, Global Sourcing - North America Chemicals to develop and execute sourcing strategies for the NA Chemicals category. You will be the marketplace expert on commodity costs, performance, and supply base trends, interfacing with supplier executives and internal teams.

You will manage a NA chemicals team, lead negotiations, and ensure alignment with global procurement goals while supporting new materials and product improvements across sites in North America.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the polyurethanes and/or petrochemicals NA market.
• 10+ years of category/supplier relationship management experience or roles developing comparable skills.
• 3+ years of managing professionals.
• Cumulative experience of 10+ years Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the NA Sourcing Strategy for the Chemicals Category, including alignment to the Global Sourcing Strategy as outlined by the Global Category Leader.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations that provide favorable terms for lead time, inventory levels, freight policies, payment terms, technology innovation, delivery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage a team of sourcing professionals and allocate work to maximize results.
• Own the supplier relationship with major suppliers on assigned categories.
