Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Manager, Global Sourcing – North America Chemicals to lead the NA Chemicals strategy and execution. You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and ensure continuity of supply across multiple sites in North America.

You will report to the Director of Global Sourcing - NA Raw Materials and work with the Global Category Leader to align with the overall sourcing strategy.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the polyurethanes and/or petrochemicals field.
• 10+ years of category/supplier relationship management experience or roles developing comparable skills.
• 3+ years of managing professionals.
• Cumulative experience of 10+ years Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of NA Chemicals sourcing strategy.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to optimize cost, delivery, and terms.
• Manage a NA chemicals team and supplier relationships.
• Own supplier scorecards and contract terms enforcement.
• Interface with senior executives at suppliers and within Tempur Sealy.
• Coordinate supplier certification and compliance for the material base.
• Develop total cost models for raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing and Operations on material innovations.
• Represent Tempur Sealy at industry events and obtain market intelligence.
