Sourcing Category Ownership

• Develop sourcing category strategies, including cost, quality, service, and risk mitigation plans.


• Monitor market trends and provide category insights.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Manage key suppliers and lead business reviews.


• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Ensure supplier performance meets company standards.

Negotiation & Cost Management

• Lead major negotiations for pricing, terms, and service levels.


• Own sourcing category cost models and savings pipelines.


• Support long-term cost reduction initiatives.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Partner with merchandising, procurement, transportation, quality, and compliance teams.


• Lead cross-functional category initiatives.


• Support implementation of sourcing tools and processes.

Market & Category Insights

• Monitor global market trends, supply base shifts, and emerging sourcing opportunities.


• Provide category insights and recommendations to inform strategic planning and supplier selection.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.


• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.


• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.


• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.


• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Remote Work Qualifications

• Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.


• Access to a home router and modem.


• A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).


• A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.


• The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, preferably in a global environment.


• Demonstrated success in supplier management, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.


• Experience working with international suppliers and navigating global trade, compliance, and quality requirements.


• Proven ability to mentor and grow team members while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture.

Education

• Business Proficiency in English is required.


• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%-20% for supplier visits, business reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
