Job description

You are a vital member of our growth-minded, industry-leading, innovative, brand-driven, global employee‑owned company. You are challenged to grow, expected to challenge others, are part of something much bigger than yourself, and leave an indelible legacy through the people your life has impacted.

You have the opportunity to be the point‑person for driving the effectiveness of our suppliers around the world. In this role, you will go beyond traditional procurement by sourcing strategies that optimize costs, mitigate global risks, and ensure our supply chain scales seamlessly alongside our ambitious growth targets.

Your assignment

The Global Sourcing Manager is a key contributor to the end‑to‑end lifecycle management of the supply chain—focusing on fasteners, tools, and building materials across the CAMO, STINGER, and PRO‑FIT brands. This role balances early‑stage supplier selection with rigorous cost analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to secure high‑quality, cost‑effective products that meet contractor standards and align with long‑term brand profitability goals.

With a strong emphasis on global category management, the Global Sourcing Manager plays a pivotal role in transforming product concepts into commercially viable, market‑ready solutions. This position is central to identifying risk‑mitigation strategies, leading complex negotiations, and driving continuous improvement in the vendor base. As a senior member of the supply chain team, the specialist also provides mentorship on market intelligence, fostering a data‑driven and growth‑oriented sourcing environment.

  • Lead the effort to review supplier performance for their assigned region and make recommendations for sourcing strategies.
  • Partner closely with product development to establish and hold suppliers accountable to quality standards prior to shipment.
  • Partner closely with sales, forecasting and marketing to understand and help the organization meet demand in real‑time.
  • Partner closely with Buyers to ensure purchasing reflects the established supplier agreements on quality, pricing, invoicing, and delivery times.
  • Travel to visit suppliers on a regular basis providing them with performance feedback through our vendor scorecards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required skills
  • Demonstrated capability in continuous improvement.
  • Expert knowledge of global macro‑economics.
  • High level of business etiquette and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational and self‑directing skills.
Success criteria
  • Maintain company goals for fill rates (97%) or above for all categories of items.
  • Meet annual cost reduction targets as established through the annual planning process.
  • Work to reduce quality complaints from our customers by auditing and working with the suppliers to close out all CAPA’s.
  • Participate in new product development teams as the interface between corporate assets and the supply base to bring new ideas and products to market.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of supply chain / sourcing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional product development initiatives from concept through commercialization.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%, including some weekends.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates preferred.
  • Align with our purpose, 8 character traits, and cornerstones.
