Molex is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to build and scale the supply base for our fiber optic and CAT 6 business. This hybrid role in Lisle, IL (or Eden Prairie, MN) combines strategic sourcing with hands-on procurement and supply-chain execution, delivering short-term relief and long-term supplier development.

Expect collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Finance, with 40–50% travel. The role emphasizes ownership, judgment, and the ability to navigate changing priorities

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with fiber optic cable or high-speed connectivity.
• Experience managing suppliers and resolving delivery, capacity, or commercial issues.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Operations or Finance.

Mansioni

• Own day-to-day health and continuity of the fiber optic and CAT 6 supply base.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality on supplier qualifications, testing, and documentation.
• Lead RFQs, supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, quality, and commercial risks.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing and supplier-development programs.
• Build relationships, navigate ambiguity, and implement practical processes.
• Help develop processes, tools, and supplier capabilities to scale the business.
• Continuously reassess priorities to maximize value for the business.
• Travel as needed, averaging 40-50%.
