Job summary

MSD Malaysia's Animal Health Division invites a Global Strategic Sourcing Intern to work with industry experts on developing and executing sourcing strategies. Gain hands-on experience driving value, efficiency, and innovation across a global supply chain while contributing to meaningful projects.

You will leverage data analytics, digital procurement tools, and collaborative teamwork to shape supplier management and digital transformation initiatives in animal health.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field.
• Willing to commit to hybrid, on-site employment for 10–12 weeks in the summer following the Spring Semester of 2027.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed supplier and supply market analysis using data, reports, and technology trends to provide insights for sourcing management.
• Support the creation of sourcing strategies aligned with stakeholder requirements to drive KPIs and value.
• Develop cost models and analyses of goods/services to identify savings opportunities and support budgeting.
