Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Louisville, KY is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee software development and automation projects across the U.S. and internationally.

You will coordinate team members, materials, and equipment, ensuring work stays on schedule and within budget, with you as the single point of contact for customers. The role involves frequent travel (75% overnight), collaboration with operations and software developers, and delivering customer and internal training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, debugging and turnover of the system to customers.
• Submit weekly project reports and coordinate teleconferences and meetings.
• Provide input to design to optimize customer operations.
• Collaborate with Software Developers to improve product and resolve issues.
• Deliver customer and internal training on TAL software on-site or at TAL’s office.
• Support QA and troubleshooting for on-site and remote customers.
