Job summary

V2X is seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver to transport passengers according to mission requirements, ensuring safety and reliability in diverse conditions.

The role requires a valid CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement, U.S. citizenship proof, ability to obtain security clearances, and teamwork to support Army transportation needs at Fort Benning. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather and able to meet DOT regulations while delivering professional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• REAL ID CDL Class B driver's license with Passenger endorsement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship (birth certificate or passport).
• Must maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.

Responsibilities

• Drives buses for transportation of passengers per scheduled mission requirements.
• Assists passengers and military units as needed.
• Regulates heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Complies with local, state, and federal traffic regulations.
• Inspects bus per DOT regulations and checks fuel, oil and water levels.
• Loads/unloads baggage into bus cargo area as required.
• May drive various transportation equipment to complete missions.
