Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to handle domestic and international shipments, packing, labeling, and documentation. You will process bills of lading, coordinate with carriers, and ensure accurate inventory flows at our Hauppauge, NY site.

The role requires 1+ year shipping/receiving experience, basic computer skills, and safety adherence. The position offers on-site work and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year shipping/receiving experience.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with UPS/FedEx WorldShip systems.
• Experience communicating with LTL and international carriers.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• IAATA HazMat certification a plus.
• CT-PAT familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Domestic and International Bills of Lading.
• Package and ship outgoing production and repair shipments using WorldShip.
• Process orders and international shipments through AES.
• Receive sales orders, pick from stock, and create pack lists.
• Coordinate with carriers on routes, delays, and pickups.
• Maintain and organize shipping/receiving areas.
• Support Customer Service Repair department as needed.
• Suggest process improvements.
