Job summary

Turbotec Products, a division of Mueller Industries, is seeking a Shipping Associate in Newton, NC. You will build BOLs/BOMs, coordinate shipments, and ensure accurate, timely delivery while maintaining inventory records and complying with customer requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with both domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier systems preferred.
• Sage ERP or inventory software experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus; training provided if needed.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs), BOMs, packing lists, and other shipping docs.
• Coordinate LTL shipments and schedule carrier pickups.
• Process shipments through FedEx, UPS, and other providers.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, suppliers, and internal teams on status.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents for accuracy and customer requirements.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Load and unload materials safely using warehouse equipment.
• Perform cycle counts and assist inventory management.
• Follow established procedures and customer-specific shipping requirements.
• Maintain organized shipping records and communications.
• Support domestic and international shipping operations.
