Job summary

Motorola Solutions, in Chicago, seeks a Global Services Data & Business Analyst to join the Business Intelligence & Operations team and deliver quantitative analysis, dashboards, and financial modeling for executive leadership.

You will partner with global teams, design Tableau dashboards, ensure data integrity, and automate reporting with SQL, Python, and Alteryx, while integrating AI/ML outputs into BI workflows to forecast trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years as Data or Business Analyst.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and publishing Tableau dashboards.
• 3+ years writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries.

In this role, you will solve complex business problems through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and the development of high-impact metrics and dashboards.Key Responsibilities & QualificationsStakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global teams to define requirements, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage project milestones from inception to delivery.End-to-End BI Development: Design and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.Data Integrity & Governance: Own the data lifecycle by establishing \"sources of truth,\" performing rigorous validation, and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and reporting automation.Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate 3+ years of professional experience using SQL for complex data extraction and Tableau for sophisticated dashboard development.Process Innovation: Drive efficiency by using Python, Alteryx, or SQL to automate manual reporting workflows and increase data velocity.Advanced Analytics & AI: Integrate AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows to provide predictive forecasting and anomaly detection.Strategic Communication: Distill intricate technical concepts into clear recommendations to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.RequirementsData Automation & Workflow Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on professional experience building automated data workflows, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.Business Intelligence (BI): 3+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and publishing advanced dashboards in Tableau (Desktop and Server) that drive business decisions.Data Querying (SQL): 3+ years of professional experience writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries (including CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins) across SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-based data warehouses like AWS.Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
