Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Assistant Manager, Service NPD to lead service-readiness across launch and lifecycle for its tool portfolio. You’ll work with product engineering, marketing, and global manufacturing to ensure products are service-ready from launch and throughout their lifecycle.

The role emphasizes technical understanding, project management, and collaboration across Service and global teams, with travel and global readiness initiatives built into the scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or business.
• 2+ years’ experience designing, servicing, repairing, or reconditioning portable power tools or light equipment.
• Experience with Milwaukee products is desired.
• Demonstrated history of successful project/workflow management across a portfolio of dynamic, fast-moving projects.
• Experience with product and tooling procurement; creating technical literature and videos.

Responsibilities

• Create and own the global service-readiness plan, including milestones and deadlines across all launch touchpoints.
• Analyze sales forecasts, market trends, service demand, and regional requirements to guide repair strategy by region.
• Understand technology, service expectations, and the competitive service landscape for current and upcoming products.
• Develop repair and maintenance programs including frequency, cost, and tooling needs.
• Assist in creating service literature strategy and training materials.
• Coordinate with service centers and global regions to ensure readiness and prevent un-readiness.
