Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc seeks a Senior Manager to lead the global analog power applications team. You will shape product line strategies, coordinate engineers across regions, and drive technical direction with marketing and engineering leadership.

You will mentor senior managers, set performance objectives, and ensure execution of roadmaps across Analog Power lines, aligning with business unit goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE (or equivalent), emphasis in power electronics or analog circuit design preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in analog/power semiconductor applications engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Expert-level knowledge of switch-mode power supply topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost, flyback, forward, etc.), linear regulators, power modules, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives.
• Ability to balance technical solution elegance with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global applications engineering team.
• Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
• Coordinate resource allocations across product lines and client support.
• Collaborate with global FAE team leadership to support client success.
