Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Director for MRO & Capex Sourcing to lead a global team and shape indirect spend strategy across 60 manufacturing sites. This onsite role based with a Minneapolis preference drives supplier performance, category strategy, and enterprise value creation in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading supplier negotiations and contract strategies.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive large-scale improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing strategies for MRO, Capital Equipment, and Manufacturing Services across ~60 sites.
• Develop category strategies to improve TCO, supplier performance, and spend under management.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain leaders to create value.
• Direct complex supplier negotiations, contract strategies, and supplier reviews to improve outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and working capital.
• Oversee sourcing pipelines and metrics to achieve annual savings and cost reductions.
• Build and develop a dispersed global sourcing organization through coaching and performance management.
• Champion data-driven decision making through analytics and supplier performance measurement.
