Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license or EA credential required.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting and tax experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Comfort with client acquisition and business development.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management.
• Ensure strict compliance with US taxation laws and timely filing of tax returns/payments.
• Collaborate with sales/business development to support client acquisition and growth.
• Manage AR/AP processes, invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and related software.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for performance and efficiency.
• Foster cross-department collaboration to align finance with business goals.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and foster a supportive team culture.
• Facilitate smooth client onboarding and adhere to engagement protocols.
• Contribute to client retention through high-quality service and responsiveness.
• Organize and secure financial records, both digital and physical.
• Participate in external audits as needed and assist with schedules.
• Assist in documenting and testing processes affecting financial statements.
• Support automation of accounting processes to improve efficiency.
