Job summary

Oracle in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Business Analyst for Global Physical Security to support supplier management, contracts, RFPs, and requisition/purchase processes. You will optimize spending, review invoices, mitigate risk, and improve GPS operations through cross-functional collaboration with managers and directors.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of demonstrated business/financial experience.
• BA degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and clients.
• Ability to present complex financial issues to non-finance executives.
• Comfortable leading multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in corporate physical security.
• Relationship-management skills strongly desired.
• Follow-through skills to obtain information from internal and third parties and correct data errors.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and tracks purchase orders regularly and ensures invoicing occurs in a timely manner.
• Resolves various issues with tax, accounts payables, and supplier requests by working with support helpdesks and other LOBs.
• Coordinates supplier setups, contract processing, creation of requisitions, and transfer of POs.
• Performs additional functions and duties as assigned by the Director, Global Business Operations – Global Physical Security.
• Coordinates activities of other personnel on the team by leading projects, trainings and initiatives.
• Identifies, investigates, and analyzes potential areas for operational improvement and proposes enhancements.
• Creates, reviews, and analyzes monthly financial reports; reports variances to management and suggests solutions.
• Coordinates and presents global budgets for GPS Security Operations.
