Job summary

eSecLending, LLC seeks a Securities Lending Associate to support clients in Europe and North America, handling recalls, buy-ins, and settlement tracking. You will take loan and return instructions, ensuring accurate trade bookings with custodians and maintaining strong broker relationships.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with 2–3 years related work experience.
• Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication.
• MS Office proficiency and Excel skills.
• Experience in financial markets or securities settlement is a plus; Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Process and track trade notification from lenders, investment managers and/or lenders’ custodian(s) within established timeframes.
• Distribute recall notices to borrowers and monitor recalls; provide follow up as needed.
• Ensure daily global operational processes reduce exposure while complying with lender guidelines and risk parameters.
• Develop and leverage borrower relationships to provide quality services.
• Support other operational units as needed.
• Optimize current procedures and processes for greater efficiency.
