Job summary

Annexon Biosciences is seeking a Senior Director, Global Scientific Communications to shape and execute the company’s medical and scientific communications on a global scale, supporting medical affairs objectives.

You will lead the Medical Information function, ensure regulatory-compliant publications, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance therapeutic areas in neurology and ophthalmology. This senior role reports to the Sr. VP of Global Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (PharmD, MD, or PhD).
• 10+ years in Scientific Communications, Publication or Medical Affairs with leadership.
• Neurology and/or ophthalmology therapeutic area expertise preferred.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and meet KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of GPP, ICMJE and regional/international regulations.
• Proven project management and resource planning experience.
• Excellent communication of complex scientific concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global strategy for Scientific Communications, Publications, and Medical Information.
• Lead creation of high-quality scientific communications and related processes.
• Develop scientific content for non-CME presentations at medical conferences and meetings.
• Lead Medical Information strategy and operations; oversee staff and vendors.
• Track and report timelines and KPIs for scientific communications.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area Leads and external stakeholders; represent Annexon externally.
