Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Director, Global Scientific Communications, Medical Affairs to join the team remotely. You will drive the creation and management of scientific content across assets, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a strong background in medical communications, oncology/hematology exposure, and excellent writing and project management skills in a biotech or pharma setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in medical communications, scientific writing, or content development in biotech/pharma.
• Strong understanding of medical affairs functions and processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent project management and vendor oversight skills.
• Experience synthesizing data and tailoring messaging for audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive creation of global scientific communication platforms and messaging frameworks for assets.
• Develop high-quality, scientifically accurate content including slides, narratives, FAQs, and congress materials.
• Translate complex data into clear, compliant materials for multiple audiences.
• Collaborate with global teams and HCPs to support medical strategy and priorities.
• Support publications including posters, abstracts, and manuscripts.
• Oversee publication planning with internal and external partners.
• Drive adoption of innovative formats and digital strategies for dissemination.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts and align content with strategic objectives.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and review/approval processes (e.g., Veeva Vault).
