Job summary

Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end development and fielding of international telecom and SATCOM gateway infrastructure. This role involves site acquisition, regulatory coordination, vendor management, and fielding activities across multiple countries, with frequent travel and a DoD/regulatory compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, infrastructure development, telecom, SATCOM, or field operations.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure or technical deployment projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Experience with site acquisition/selection, site surveys, permitting, vendor selection, and fielding.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and fielding of international telecom, SATCOM, and gateway infrastructure.
• Manage site acquisition, permitting, and vendor selection for international deployments.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and partners to ensure schedule, cost, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee RFIs/RFPs, procurements, and contract administration across multiple countries.
• Maintain integrated schedules, risk registers, and executive status reporting for fielding activities.
