Job summary

Sotalent is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Process Analyst to support finance process optimisation for a global life sciences organisation. The role emphasises Analyze to Decide (A2D) with responsibilities spanning design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of SAP finance workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in product costing, variance analysis, project accounting, management accounting, or FP&A.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and finance workstreams.
• Hands-on experience in site controlling and as an SAP end user.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP Controlling (CO).
• Experience analysing business requirements and improving operational processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Kneat, or SAP Signavio.
• Knowledge of SAP finance transformation and global process templates.
• Experience supporting cross-functional SAP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation and global finance process standardisation.
• Analyse and optimise product costing, variance analysis, and management accounting workflows.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional process solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to develop automated workflows.
• Support SAP module configuration and integration with FI/CO and MM.
• Assist with data migration, system testing, and validation.
• Develop reporting dashboards and improve financial data accuracy.
• Support system deployment, go-live activities, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
