Job summary

Neuberger is seeking a dynamic Business Manager for its Global Risk Group. The role directly supports Co-CROs, guiding the department and leading key initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-starter, and excels in strategic planning and operational execution.

This position requires collaboration across functions, governance focus, and the ability to manage ongoing processes to drive efficiency and consistency across the Risk Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of related experience in business management, project/program management, risk or operations.
• Experience supporting a global, multi-location team across time zones preferred.
• Prior exposure to risk governance frameworks (risk committees, committee charter documents, escalation protocols, regulatory reporting cycles) is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize technical risk topics for senior/non-technical audiences.
• Project management discipline — can scope, sequence, and track initiatives to completion (formal PM certification not required but structured approach expected).

Responsibilities

• Manage projects as directed by Co-CROs, including system implementations, audits, regulatory requests, and change initiatives
• Own governance calendar; coordinate risk committee packs, board/regulatory reporting deadlines including SOC 1 audits, quarterly reviews
• Support delivery of Risk Group materials, track actions, metrics and KRIs
• Support management of Risk Group budget process, vendor/data contract administration
• Ownership of Risk team written materials and collateral, including RFPs, marketing decks, audit report descriptions
• Support onboarding, training coordination, and team communications; plan team events
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and lead remediation projects
• Support technology/tooling initiatives as business lead liaising with tech enablement teams
• Support SOP design and oversight across the department (briefs, workflows, RACIs)
• Manage team meetings and run offsites with follow-up
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders for alignment on initiatives
• Chair working groups or committees as directed by Co-CROs
