Job summary

Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation seeks a Global Risk & Compliance Risk & Analytics Manager based in Cypress, CA (hybrid). You will lead the Analytics Center of Excellence, guiding portfolio decisions, loss performance analysis, and optimization of portfolio performance across YMFC regions.

Responsibilities include leading analytics initiatives, developing operations strategy, and collaborating with regional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
3–5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Auto, Motorcycle, or consumer lending preferred.
Strong presentation skills and ability to present data to Senior Management.
Strong interpersonal and planning skills, and ability to interact with all levels of management.
High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of risk and reporting analysts to provide analytical and reporting support to YMFC departments and regions.
Lead strategic initiatives including strategy design and adjustments; perform quantitative and statistical analyses.
Apply data mining, approved AI and ML technologies to analyze business performance.
Conduct comprehensive analyses to assess credit risk across YMFC regions and provide recommendations.
Evaluate internal processes and reduce exposure; support ad hoc reporting.
Collaborate with regions on strategic initiatives like Scorecard and Decision Engine.
Meet with internal and external customers to establish requirements.
