Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA in Orange County, California is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst III to support monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, and regional data consolidation using SAP/D365. The role collaborates with Global Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial results.

Required: bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance; 8+ years accounting experience; advanced Excel; multinational experience a plus.

Yamaha Motor Financial Services extends credit primarily to motorsports and marine enthusiasts and owners of Yamaha products. The corporate arm of financial services in Legal, Accounting, Reporting, Treasury and Internal Audit is and will remain in Cypress, CA as sales and operations move to Georgia. Many of the Cypress positions also offer opportunities to engage with similar roles from other regions, i.e. Canada, Australia, Brazil, France and Columbia.

The Financial Reporting Analyst III

• Assist the lead Global Accountant(s) with monthly/quarterly reporting to YMC. Reporting to YMC includes assisting in the preparation of the FC Package, uploading the workbooks into the FC portal, and uploading all regional TBs to the Global Data Base (GDB).
• Champion the annual budgeting process: preparing templates for the regions/YMFC and gathering templates from the regions/YMFC; uploading spreadsheets received into SAP/D365; consolidating regional data and analyzing output.
• Assist the lead Global Accountant(s) with Day 5 analysis of the region's comparison of budget versus actual performance MTD and YTD.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance required, MBA/CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of accounting required; financial services experience, a plus.
• Advanced Excel or other data management resources knowledge required.
• Experience working in/with multi-national companies a plus.
• Excellent technical/data mining abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$90,000 - $110,000

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward Program; our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
