IDEXX is seeking a Global Resource Planning Manager to lead a six-person global resource planning team, coaching and developing talent while driving modernization across scheduling, coverage, and reporting. You will shape short-term forecasts into global scheduling strategy and partner with Operations and HR to align workforce plans with business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in workforce management, resource or scheduling planning, incl. direct people leadership
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team
• Track record of leading process improvement, automation, or modernization initiatives
• Comfort with change and adopting new technologies, including AI

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of 6 (4 Resource Planners, 2 Operations Analysts)
• Drive automation and modernization across scheduling, coverage, and reporting
• Standardize processes and tools across regions for consistency and efficiency
• Partner with Operations, HR, and leaders on staffing strategy and headcount planning
• Escalate and resolve cross-regional scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps
• Translate short-term forecasts into global scheduling strategy (shift design, PTO planning)
• Ensure timely reporting and KPI visibility on staffing and coverage
