Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a research analyst to drive data-backed analysis across IPT themes such as supply chains, advanced manufacturing, defense, energy resilience, and frontier technologies. You will produce regular reports and deep-dives, track industry indicators, and provide insights to stakeholders.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple bank lines to inform client engagements.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience in data analysis.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Intellectual flexibility to work across multiple industries and themes with curiosity and teamwork.
• Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive research analysis on themes such as supply chain, advanced manufacturing, defense and aerospace, energy resilience, frontier technologies, and pharmaceutical health technologies; produce regular research and deep-dive reports.
• Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains.
• Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking IPT industries' development.
• Produce high-quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector evidence; account for policy and geopolitics shaping opportunities and risks.
• Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various lines of research and business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research.
• Communicate findings through business writing.
• Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal/external client engagements.

• Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains
• Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development
• Produce high quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector-specific evidence and factoring in how policy and geopolitics shape sectoral opportunities and risks
• Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research
• Communicate findings through business writing
• Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements
