Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of Regulatory Affairs to lead global regulatory strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive successful product approvals across therapeutic areas. You will oversee regulatory product teams and align strategies with global requirements.

The role requires senior leadership, strong communication, and proven experience in complex regulatory environments, including US regulatory interfaces and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences (pharmacy, biology, chemistry, pharmacology) or related subject.
• Advanced degree preferred; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global regulatory product strategies for assigned products and regions.
• Interface with LRST and AST to align regulatory messaging and guidance.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies to secure approvals and life-cycle management.
• Mentor GRPT members and support cross-functional teams in regulatory decisions.
• Represent AbbVie regulatory positions in governance and cross-functional initiatives.
