Job summary

Cohen & Steers is seeking an experienced Associate Counsel to provide strategic and hands‑on legal support for the firm’s non‑U.S. products and services, focusing on UCITS and international fund structures.

You will partner with senior management, fund administration, international offices, and Compliance to address regulatory matters and support product development and distribution. This exempt, NY‑hybrid role requires judgment, independence and cross‑functional collaboration to support current

Qualifications

JD and active bar admission with strong academics.
Minimum of five years of legal experience in financial services.
Experience supporting UCITS funds, distribution and governance.
Experience with cross-border regulatory requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support for non‑U.S. funds and international products, including contracts, distribution, and marketing.
Support governance processes; prepare and review board materials and minutes as needed.
Monitor global regulatory developments; communicate impacts to senior management.
Coordinate implementation of new regulatory requirements across front/middle/back offices.
