Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an External Reporting Controller- Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank to oversee financial statements and management reporting for Global Rates.

The role partners with Front Office to optimize balance sheet usage and ensures regulatory compliance across products and frameworks. Candidates should bring 4+ years in finance, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to summarize complex information for executives in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and financial products.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end reporting and control processes.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to summarize complex information and deliver it at business executive level.
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative; ability to thrive in a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial statements and management reporting for Global Rates LOB.
• Monitor Global Rates Balance Sheet from liquidity, GSIB, and leverage perspectives.
• Provide analytic support to Front Office to optimize balance sheet and capital usage.
• Provide guidance on accounting, regulatory, and capital treatment for new products with policy groups.
• Work with Front Office to understand regulatory developments and impact on capital framework and RWA.
• Lead strategic initiatives and improvements to reporting processes.
• Establish and manage relationships with Front Office, CIB Treasury, and Corporate Financial Reporting.
