Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Financial Reporting Asset Class Controller, Associate, to oversee financial statements and management reporting within the Firmwide Financial Controllers group.

You will ensure a sound control environment, understand accounting treatments, and coordinate regulatory reporting across asset classes. You will participate in monthly–quarterly–annual reporting, liaise with diverse teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Control, Financial Control or knowledge of SEC reporting/Reg Reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years accounting or industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Proficient Excel.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with line of business controllers and other teams.
• Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy.
• Assist in assessment of issues and clearly communicate financial information.
• Participate in production, review and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure accurate data submission to Regulators and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special projects and drive process improvements.
• Perform control procedures to ensure integrity of reported results.
