Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director, Quality Change Management to lead the R&D QCM system within Global Quality Systems. You will drive global governance, standardization, and proactive change management across functions, aligning with regulatory expectations.

In this leadership role, you will mentor SMEs, partner with internal stakeholders, and oversee documentation, metrics, and inspection readiness to uphold quality and compliance across AbbVie’s R&D portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharma/biotech with quality change management focus.
• Proven leadership in matrixed environments.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and inspection readiness.
• Experience standardizing quality/change processes across R&D.

Responsibilities

• Lead global QCM system as strategic owner, drive governance and compliance.
• Design and improve quality systems, standards and tools to align with regulatory expectations.
• Establish governance structures for QCM with change lifecycle controls.
• Harmonize QCM processes across R&D for consistency and alignment.
• Mentor a global network of QCM SMEs and practitioners.
