Job summary

Waymo LLC is seeking a graduate student intern in UX/Data at its San Francisco hybrid site. You will work with researchers and product teams to explore market opportunities for autonomous mobility and contribute to global localization efforts.

You will design and run surveys across London and Tokyo, analyze data with R/Python/SQL, and present insights to stakeholders in Product, Marketing, and Operations. This role offers hands-on learning and real impact.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in a quantitative field.
• Strong background in quantitative methods and survey design.
• Ability to query and analyze data with R, Python, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and launch user surveys in London and Tokyo to study travel behaviors.
• Analyze survey data and public datasets to identify market segments.
• Support quantitative analysis of user feedback in early engagement programs.
• Conduct comparative analyses across cities to inform localization strategies.
• Summarize findings in clear reports for Product, Marketing, and Operations.
