Job summary

Peli BioThermal is seeking a Global Quality Supply Chain Engineer to strengthen supplier quality across our worldwide operations, starting with supplier qualification, audits, and KPI-driven improvements. You will work closely with SIOP, Purchasing, and Engineering to embed quality into the supply chain from the outset.

You will monitor supplier performance, perform root-cause analyses, and drive corrective actions that reduce risk and enable successful new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain backgrounds are required or preferred.
• Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or related roles is expected.
• Ability to analyze quality data and translate findings into actions.
• Experience with supplier qualification, audits and QMS is valued.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to influence teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen supplier quality across the global supply chain.
• Partner with SIOP and Purchasing to define supplier quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans for materials and services.
• Establish supplier quality KPIs and analyze performance data.
• Address quality concerns with suppliers and drive corrective actions.
• Lead supplier qualification and audits, document findings and close actions.
• Define Critical-to-Quality characteristics for materials and services.
• Manage supplier quality issues impacting production with root cause analysis.
• Support New Product Introduction with supplier requirements and QA involvement.
• Develop risk assessments to identify and reduce supply chain risk.
• Conduct internal and external audits and lead process improvements.
• Support QA/Lab Technicians and Inspectors through training.

What You'll Do

You’ll own and strengthen supplier quality practices across our global supply chain. From supplier qualification and audits to KPIs, corrective actions, risk assessments, and new product launches, you’ll help ensure quality is built into our supply chain from the beginning.

• Partner with SIOP and Purchasing teams to define supplier and supply chain quality requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans for materials and services supplied to Peli BioThermal.
• Establish supplier quality KPIs and use performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and work directly with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct supplier qualification and surveillance audits, document findings, and drive corrective actions through verification and closure.
• Define Critical-to-Quality characteristics for purchased materials and services.
• Lead the global supplier qualification process and ensure requirements remain aligned with Peli BioThermal quality expectations.
• Manage supplier quality issues impacting production, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of long-term solutions.
• Represent Quality during the development of new supply chains for New Product Development and confirm supplier requirements during New Product Introduction.
• Develop and maintain material and supplier risk assessments to identify and reduce supply chain risk.
• Analyze quality data and apply risk management principles to strengthen quality systems and processes.
• Develop and perform internal and external Quality Management System audits and lead related process improvements.
• Support the development of QA/Lab Technicians and Inspectors through training and project assignments.
• Support and manage calibration system compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related technical background.
• Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or a related function.
• Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve quality and performance issues.
• Knowledge of supplier qualification, supplier audits, and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and risk management.
• Ability to analyze supplier and quality data and turn findings into clear actions.
• Experience developing or managing supplier KPIs and performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of quality planning, inspection requirements, and Critical-to-Quality characteristics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, SIOP, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence teams and suppliers.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
