Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to lead reliability activities for New Product Development, product support and value engineering. You will collaborate with global teams, translate customer needs into specifications, and guide risk assessments throughout development.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering, 2+ years in quality/reliability engineering, proficiency with Minitab and ReliaSoft, strong communication, and ability to travel up to 20%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related work experience in Advanced Quality, Quality Engineering and/or Reliability Engineering preferred.
  • Exceptional critical thinker with ability to anticipate risks early in product development.
  • Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab and ReliaSoft.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels, with PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 20% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct quality and reliability activities for project teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing to translate customer needs into requirements.
  • Develop and execute test procedures to validate product specifications.
  • Conduct reliability analyses and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Organize project milestones and present progress to cross-functional teams.
