Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey seeks a seasoned Global Quality Laboratory Transformation leader to drive cross-functional initiatives across regional and global teams, manage budgets, and align stakeholders with regulatory expectations.

You will orchestrate complex workstreams, lead executive meetings, promote operational excellence, and coordinate communications while ensuring FDA/EMA readiness and integration of LIMS/ELN systems across sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Quality Environment.
  • Understanding regulatory compliance, FDA/EMA inspection readiness, LIMS/ELN systems, and lab instrumentation.
  • 5+ years of project-management experience.
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating executive-level meetings.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate among teams with competing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to promote collaboration across countries and regions.
  • Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

  • Manage critical Global Quality Laboratory Transformation Initiatives, activities, and budgets.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders across cross-functional groups at regional and global levels.
  • Integrate complex workstream plans across multiple functions and external entities.
  • Resolve conflicts and make trade-offs among competing interests and priorities.
  • Facilitate joint meetings with alliance counterparts.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications and participate in execution and governance meetings.
  • Ensure budget accountability and transparency with stakeholders and governance.
  • Track activity timing, anticipated risks, mitigation, and conflict resolutions.
  • Lead and contribute to process-improvement initiatives.
  • Promote operational excellence across activities and projects.
  • Plan, orchestrate, and support business initiatives.
  • Support projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, including budget planning, meeting planning, and agendas/minutes.
  • Track and support multiple workstreams across functional areas and companies.
  • Lead Microsoft Teams community stewardship.
  • Execute communication plans aligned with business objectives, project timelines, and stakeholder needs.
  • Engage leadership to understand goals and performance needs and develop aligned ways of working.
  • Routinely engage stakeholders to ensure solutions support desired outcomes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing / Quality Environment
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, FDA/EMA inspection readiness, LIMS/ELN systems, and lab instrumentation
  • Minimum of 5 years of project-management experience
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating executive-level meetings internally and externally
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate among teams and individuals with competing priorities
  • Ability to independently handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly learn new subject areas and environments
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, resourcefulness, problem-solving ability, and passion for science
  • Outstanding Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams skills
  • Ability to apply approaches, tools, and techniques for constructive collaboration
