LG Electronics in Clarksville, TN is hiring a Quality Inspector to perform daily inspections of finished and in-process products. The role requires standing for long hours, lifting up to 25 lbs, and potential overtime to meet production needs.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with calipers and gauges, recording results, and assisting with root-cause analysis to resolve issues. High school diploma and 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Daily quality inspections of finished, in-process and received product.
• Maintain accurate records including inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving of materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality inspections of finished, in-process and received product as required by company inspection and test plan.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
• Perform inspection of parts to specifications using calipers, gauges, tape measures and other mechanical inspection hand tools and reading drawings.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of materials in the manufacturing areas.
• Investigate root cause analysis for quality issues and assist in problem solving.
• Ability to work any shift and/or overtime as required.
• Perform data entry and computations on defined quality forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
