Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Quality Engineering team supporting global dolls brand groups such as Barbie, Monster High, Polly Pocket, and others. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and experience in product development, QA systems, and Six Sigma.

You will participate in design reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, assess safety/quality risks, and author product specifications for new launches across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in a product development or product engineering environment, especially with consumer products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance or Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to apply Six Sigma or similar quality tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Participate in concept/design reviews and provide input on safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction for new products
• Drive and support the creation and updating of design, engineering, and manufacturing standards using consumer insights and sound engineering rationale
• Interpret and communicate product regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across all markets
• Assess risks related to safety and quality issues, and develop mitigation strategies
• Author product specifications focusing on performance, safety, and quality for new product launches
