Job summary

Penn Color, Inc. is seeking a transformational Global Quality Assurance Manager to elevate our quality function across sites. You will shape strategy, develop people, establish global standards, and transition QA from reactive to proactive driver of excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will lead a global QA/QE team, implement QMS and CAPA programs, and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and waste while partnering with operations to ensure product quality and reliability globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and quality experience, including QA/QE leadership.
• Experience building or transforming a Quality Assurance organization, preferably across multiple sites.
• Background in specialty chemicals, plastics, polymers, coatings, or similar process manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, RCA, CAPA, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• A collaborative, hands-on leader who can influence, develop teams, and drive meaningful organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our global Quality Engineering team.
• Build and implement global Quality Assurance standards, systems, and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, process variation, scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Strengthen Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and preventive quality practices.
• Establish meaningful quality metrics and leverage data to drive improvements.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve product consistency, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
• Foster a culture of shared accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
