Job summary

Anglo-Eastern Ship Management seeks a dynamic Vice President, Quality & Safety to lead the global QHSE function for its managed fleet and shore operations. You will oversee governance, regulatory compliance, audit programs, and risk management to ensure safety and operational excellence across the organization.

The role requires strategic leadership, experience with international maritime regulations, and a track record of driving continuous improvement and high performance within a global team.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of international maritime regulations and management systems.
• Proven leadership of global/QHSE teams and complex risk management.
• Track record in regulatory compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global QHSE function across fleet and shore operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC and flag state rules.
• Oversee Quality and Safety Management Systems development and improvement.
• Direct global audit programs, inspections, and risk-based reviews.
• Lead investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive enterprise-wide risk management and a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement industry best practices.
