Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field for entire duration of internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain suppliers within the Pierce database.
• Prepare weekly reports for department leads to aid decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain part drawings and part information.
• Maintain supplier relationships to obtain cross references of part numbers.
• Coordinate data with Engineering to update drawings for suppliers.
• Assist with internal purchasing requests for non-inventory parts and services.
• Support mass price updates in the ERP system.
• Assist with pulling estimated date of arrival and annual usages for sourcing.
