Job summary

Encoded Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Global Publications to lead global publication strategy and execution across preclinical and clinical assets.

You will oversee manuscript development, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations in collaboration with authors, medical writers, and cross-functional teams. The role reports to the Director, Scientific Communications and requires strategic oversight of publication governance, PSCs, and external agencies, ensuring we meet

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or 8 years with a master's/PhD.
• 3–5 years of medical writing, publications or scientific communications in biotech/pharma.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear scientific content for diverse audiences.
• Excellent writing, editing and project management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, alignment, and execution of global publication plans across assets.
• Drive end-to-end manuscript, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Biometrics, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs for accuracy and timing.
• Establish and manage Publication Steering Committees and author working groups.
• Manage external agencies, writers, and graphics vendors in alignment with standards.
• Ensure compliance with publication policies, GPP, ICMJE, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee publication management software and MLR review workflows.
• Contribute to congress strategy, disclosures, and post-congress debriefs.
